INFINITI QX55 Unveil Event

Overview
The unveil of the INFINITI QX55, while not sold in Japan, was a huge milestone for INFINITI, that had just relocated back to the Japanese Nissan headquarters. Even during the pandemic, they wanted to celebrate this occasion as a hybrid between an internal event and a publicly visible event.
Extending from the ‘center stage’ concept established in America, we built a ‘theatre stage’ in the Nissan HQ Gallery.
Approach
Based on previous experience from building on the Gallery stage, I built a mock-up of the final result, allowing the client to choose directions early.
The setup was comparably easy as there was no necessary match between the flooring and the digital content. Only multiple sizes of the curtain digital background have been provided to adjust on stage.
The unveil was again done entirely with the video that played on the screen, and only the beginning and end was moderated on site.
Outcomes
Considering this unique but established format of a car unveil, this setup from the night before combined with a video concert was considerably successful, attracting lots of attention from by-passers.
