Webb Ellis Pavilion
Event / Construction / Hospitality / Interior Design
Overview
The Webb Ellis Pavilion, named after the inventor of Rugby, was the hereto largest temporary hospitality site in Japan, welcoming 3000 VIPs Together with the Account Supervisor and Production Manager, I helped manage the site build lasting over 6 months from scratch, coordinating A & B Construction while planning C Construction, the executing and maintaining power, A/V and interior elements over the 6 month operation period.
Needs & Challenges
The main challenges during the planning change was to adjust the A and B construction to allow the C construction to be feasible, specifically for the smoke veils and other permission related points like natural light.
I was the centerpiece of in translating these needs between the dutch production company, my british agency iLuka and the client’s (STH) Japanese temporary structure vendor Omni.
